Question about the Microfilter

Jeff, or anyone else familiar with the development of a "technical design prototype". How long does this development take?

It seems like a year is an awfully long time to develop a prototype. In addition, wouldn't there have to be a prototype or at least one working model in order to get the patent?

How many prototypes would ABMI expect SRI to deliver? one, a dozen, a hundred?

Has ABMI paid SRI in advance for this development or is it an ongoing charge? If it is ongoing and ABMI doesn't have the cash on hand does development just stop until ABMI can pay there bill?

Sorry about all the questions, I'm just trying to fully understand this process.

Thanks
