Hello Vaughn:
FYI -- (from Mail & Guardian, Johannesburgh):

UNITA TROOPS SURRENDER

THREE batallions of Angolan Unita rebel troops are camped
near the Zambian border, awaiting the go-ahead from the
Unita splinter group, the Unita Renewal Committee, to
surrender themselves to Angolan authorities, Zambian daily The
Post reports. The paper quoted the Angolan Angop news agency, which said that Unita Renewal Committee co-ordinator
Jorge Valentim confirmed late last week that some 1 500 Unita
troops have defected from recalcitrant Unita leader Jonas Sawimbi. Valentim said the Zambain government alerted
Angolan authorities to the presence of the soldiers.

Regards. Goalie.
