Business Wire News: Viasoft teams up with Matridigm Corp:
BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 15, 1997--Viasoft Inc.
(NASDAQ NM:VIAS.O) and MatriDigm Corp. Wednesday announced that they
are working cooperatively to provide a seamlessly integrated process
to take organizations' Year 2000 projects reliably from initial
assessment of their software applications to the final phases of
code conversion, testing and acceptance.
The two companies are in preliminary discussions to develop
specifications that integrate Viasoft's analysis of organizations'
application portfolios into MatriDigm's software change
capabilities.
"As more and more organizations begin or move further along
their Year 2000 date change efforts, the required resources,
services and time to properly address the problem will not be
available," said Bill Scully, Viasoft's director of strategic
marketing. "Software change factories such as MatriDigm are an
important phase in the overall Year 2000 effort."
"Viasoft's project and process management expertise in Year 2000
efforts are being leveraged with MatriDigm's powerful software
factory conversion capabilities to provide a new, superior level of
repeatability and predictability for Year 2000 projects," said
Kenneth F. Titow, president of MatriDigm.
