It is not FUD, the threat of NT to Unix is very real. I do agree with you Windows needs a lot or work. Heck I can't stand rebooting my Windows 95. Unix might be more reliable, but it lacks ease of use and has a higher cost associated with maintenance and employee training. Re:eventually there will be a mass realization that computing can be better than it is with Wintel. Oh really, and when do you surmise this epiphany among the masses will take place. 1999, 2000, 2001 etc.. I think that is just wishful thinking. Dale
