It is not FUD, the threat of NT to Unix is very real. I do agree with you Windows needs a lot or work. Heck I can't stand rebooting my Windows 95. Unix might be more reliable, but it lacks ease of use and has a higher cost associated with maintenance and employee training.

Oh really, and when do you surmise this epiphany among the masses will take place. 1999, 2000, 2001 etc..
I think that is just wishful thinking.
