Perhaps it's a "satisfaction or your money back" type of guarantee.

In that case, it's no biggee, because Veronex didn't pay any money upfront. Did they?

I wonder what percentage of product sales dollars Veronex gets from their distributors?

Since I|Nova is sold for $2.5 million (No kidding! It's documented somewhere on this thread!), that means their distributors have guaranteed to sell at least 5 systems. Since I would expect some healthy discounting, let's just guess that the distributors will need to sell 8 systems. That's 8 more than have been sold thus far (I'm not counting the one Wang system that was primarily the "Application Manager" piece, and we haven't received word of any other sales).

All in all, that sounds like a very aggressive marketing plan.

Now ... was that $11,750,000 from each of the distributors ?
