I sold Csco at $15 dollars (split adjusted) for almost the same reason after detailed analysis (three page full) and bought Baynet because it was cheap. I sold Iomg at $2 dollars split adjusted and bought Syquest because they are coming out with a competing product.
Both Baynet and syquest are loosers.

To sell a market leader and buy a proven loser of the competition?

CSCO used to have astronomical P/E. It still have similar P/E now, only the earning is five times higher. It used to have a market cap of 7 billion and I thought it was high. Now its cap is 40 billion.

My lesson is as what Peter Lynch said: " You can never catch the second train"
