Yousef, to see what the largest user of AMD and DEC processors is up to, check out this article from today's Yahoo:

"Compaq buys asset portfolio from GE Capital

WOODBRIDGE, N.J. (Reuters) - The financing arm of computer giant Compaq Computer Corp. (NYSE:CPQ - news) doubled its asset base on Monday with the acquisition of the digital financial service asset portfolio from GE Capital.

The company's wholly owned subsidiary Compaq Capital Corp., would not release financial details of the transaction with the unit of General Electric Co.

The acquisition represents a natural next step in Compaq's integration of Digital Equipment Corp., which it purchased earlier this year for $8.4 billion. DEC had operated its own North American leasing unit until 1993, when it sold the business to GE Capital and entered into a private-label, service-provider relationship.

The company's latest action gives Compaq's worldwide resellers and customers the advantage of in-house financing for their information technology and services.

These developments follow Compaq Capital's Sept. 1 acquisition of CC Finance L.L.C. from Dana Commercial Credit Corp. Under a service-provider agreement with Compaq Capital, DCC established CC Finance in the spring of 1997 to deliver Compaq-branded financial products to resellers and small to medium-sized business customers in the U.S. and Canada.

Separately, Compaq Capital established its own sales and service operations to focus on enterprise computing customers."
