Bill,
I am familiar with v 2.1. I have it in the computer but rarely use it. I still haven't installed 2.101, but will probably do so this evening as soon as several nets finish training. I just prefer not to interrupt them.
Regardless of how the commission data is used or what the report looks like, all I was trying to say earlier was that if Andrew wants to improve this version, he should add features, such as additional input preferences that will enhance our ability to produce more accurate nets and skip the glossy features, that, while maybe being handy to have now and then, when it comes right down to it, are basically useless most of the time.
As far as the commissions data goes, I couldn't care less. While I do look at the "With Neurostock" performance number to gauge the overall quality of the net, what I really look at is the performance in the chart. In the training period, are there any errors within it, excluding the first 30 days? In the verify period, are all of the buys and sells in the right place? I'm not interested in knowing how well the net would have really done during the past two or three years if it would have actually bought the stock and paid the commissions. I'm only interested in being able to make the best net possible which will produce the most accurate results in the next 3 to 6 months when I'll have the chance to actually trade the stock. That's where it really counts.
Len! Len! Am I making sense here, or am I losing it again?
