*AV*--WOW, you provide very powerful comments. Thanks for the feedback. I guess it will not be as simple as I made it out to be. But the concept does have some promise. My brother always orders his new cars and tries to track its progress through the process.

I understand everything you have stated and maybe the internet purchasing of cars will not consume the delaerships but you have to admit there is a segment of the market that would jump on this since they already do it in another way.

What I find most interesting are the logistics and planning issues you commented on. I guess "build to order" might have some serious problems in the auto industry. Not as easy as it seems.<G>
