Intel to "discontinue development" of the i740?!? This was on Redwood's site this morning: (http://redwood.stomped.com/) ================================= Intel Drops 740/Low End Graphics Development? I received this while I was on vacation but it's still interesting. Tod DeBie reports that on page 3 of the November 23rd PC Week, it has this blurb: Intel will discontinue development of low end dedicated graphics processors such as the i740, which it released earlier this year The question is of course, does this mean they are developing for high end and what do they consider to be high end? ============================= Anyone have any more details/rumors on this?
