Captain: I received a PM (he/she said I could share it, just not the source) that today's activity is "only the beginning of a legally mandated buyback of illegally sold shares. Over the next week, four times the number of shares bought today by illegal shorters will by law be purchased." I'll be honest with you, I consider myself a bright guy--but what the hell does this mean? I'm assuming BANY didn't illegally sell shares (tell me I'm right). Could you explain (if you know what this is in reference to)?
