I thought this excerpt from the Soundview report posted earlier today was worth highlighting. This is the fundamental reason for the rally. " CPQ: Early feedback from CPQ is extremely positive on consumer PC sales. Although all regions are not entirely rolled-up, CPQ is characterizing y/y unit growth as "dramatic." The week ending Nov. 28 was the largest for consumer in CPQ's history. * In the September quarter, consumer was just under 15% of CPQ's total revenue and just under 30% of total unit volume. * Our estimates for the December quarter look for 15.5% of total revenue.
