But Bill If a cop roughed up a citizen that would be violating the public trust put in him. The trust we put in him with the power we gave him. In this case he abused it. If the cop had an affair with one of the meter maids and lied about it under oath no special punishment would be required. Because although wrong it did not require that he be a cop to do it. I know that Clinton has been accused of abuse of power I don't by it. pez
