Bill, I have to compliment you on adding to my knowledge. I hadn't known that Tripp explicitly set up Lewinsky, at the behest of Starr. And that the set up was immediately pounced on to do the immunity extortion thing. Sans lawyers, of course. I thought it was all just Tripp's illegal phone tapes. And Starr did his best to set up Clinton, too. I'd read a reference in a Maureen Dowd column to Starr going after Clinton like a mafia boss, but I didn't understand it, since I really quit following the Whitewater inquisition when the Lewinsky matter broke. Now I understand better. That you, Bill.
