What you are saying may be true for today, but if you think
NT performance and scalability will stand still you're fired.
There will be a point where adding more performance and more
scalability will not continue to give sunw an advantage and
NT will catch up.

Maybe you can enlighten us, here at the SUNW thread, about this
great improvement in performance and scalability that NT will
eventually attain. What makes you think M$FT can produce a
quality piece of software, something they have never done
before.

BTW, performance and scalability are important, but not the whole
enchilada. Enterprise systems are in a different league than
M$FT, and they are clueless as to what is required to compete.
SUNW & IBM will have the enterprise market sewn up in 3-5 years.
M$FT might as well cash in their chips & move on to something
else.

cheers,
