No, I don't mean the Fed and I agree with you totally and personally I'd rather the Fed not get involved in any way shape or form in the internet mania. It does seem reasonable that a number of internet brokerage firms are putting greater margin restrictions on many of these internet stocks as I heard today on CNBC following Waterhouse's lead. There is obviously a lot of irresponsible trading and compulsive gambling going on now and these firms rightly don't want to be left holding the bag if a lot of these traders can't settle up if things turn against them and cry it is the broker's fault for letting them trade beyond what was appropriate. Since I'm not a broker it's not my problem but as an investor I don't like to see excessive speculation which can be an unhealthy sign for the market.
