Tony, I'm sorry to be so long in getting back to you. Let's see, Dollar General is a discount retailer, like (but also different from) Wal-Mart. DG sells clothing and shoes for the entire family, housewares, health and beauty aids, all at steep discounts. They usually go in to the smaller communities, or in the larger cities, they are a neighborhood store to the lower income families. The company is very well financed and very well managed. They have recently expanded their soft goods line (clothing) to provide more clothing suitable to working people. At one time, they mostly sold jeans and very casual clothes though I don't remember a time when they didn't sell dress shirts and casual slacks for men.
