Once again I stand humbled by your articulate discussion of political nuance.... <VBG> If we wish to truly "cut to the chase", then we can sum it all that all forms of political ideology have one goal. That goal is to redistribute the economic fruit of our labors in accord with their particular methodology. The nuances lie in exactly how much the "powers that be" permit us to influence the decision. (Obviously not much since I still feel we're paying far too much in taxes.. :0) Whatever the means or system created to implement this redistribution, the goal remains the same.
