Jean, Cops also want to be able to shoot other cops guns. In a gun fight, an officer needs to have his partner's gun available also. The chip can also be embedded under the skin (better than the ring or wrist band)...... like one birth control method is today.....and it should also be a universal chip....meaning that all smart guns within a department can be fired by any officer...... And the code for the gun and chip can be changed just like a hotel room key....should the code or chip be stolen or fall into the wrong hands. One reason that Colt is not working on the above system.....is that their heart is not in it.......IMO. bg
