Shoot, I'd disagree... soes is probably the last execution system I use. Out of the 12 to 15 that we use for OTC stocks, I'd say SOES is second to last. The market makers know how to minimize their exposure to it, and as well, all the daytrading shops offer it and its simple to use, so you have tons of traders chasing the same stock with the same gun...it doesnt fly. you need as many systems as possible. i'd say i personally work about 100 executions per day and less than 2 are soes.. regards, Steve@yamner.com
