S.C. - Can someone recommend a thorough y2k tester for my computer What sort of computer (hardware) are you needing to probe? Your question is a tad on the open-ended side. There is no simple, single test for any machine, large or small. Much of the worry over PCs (erroneously) focuses on the BIOS/RTC clock. You also have to consider the data files and applications that you use and how you use them. - David
