Guardian...I agree..Keeping MSFT's IE browser is absolutely brilliant!...They are becoming the model for "friendly" competition..This idea that just because you are a competitor doesn't mean you can't do business together is perfectly modeled here by AOL....This is exactly what they will be asking some of NSCP's current customers to do -- do business with AOL, a rival..Some of NSCP's customers are ISP's who buy software from NSCP.....AOL wants to keep a soft hand on NSCP, not a heavy-handed approach.

Frankly, I think AOL has the foresight, the skill and the understanding to nurture a trusting relationship with their new marriage partner.....If AOL were a real person I think they would be an excellent marriage partner...Looking aside what would be a polygamy issue-their partnerships to date are hugely successful...I was just reminded of the Israeli Miribalis acquisition, how there were lots of questions about whether distance, and culture could blend...Surprising enough, according to the piece I read, the blend was wildly successful.

AOL, NSCP, SUNW for the long haul (hauling your money all the way to the bank, from the brokerage house)...........George
