When they start pulling this money, if they do, and with the U S savings rates the way they are,

Monty,

The question would be where would they put all of that money?? Europe?? Could be, but they have their own problems trying to stabilize currency in anticipation of the EMU.

Japan?? Just to attract 0.25% interest rates? (In some places negative rates)

Brazil?? naaaahhh.....

Russia?? Wouldn't be prudent....

Gold?? Hmmmm..... But aren't the central bankers selling gold in a vain attempt to keep a lid on the price (and thus maintain the perception of economic health)

When the fur flies, there will be nowhere to hide except precious metals. Until then, I can't see them going anywhere when things can still get so much worse internationally after the US gets hit. I mean, who are these guys planning on selling the goods and commodities to??

But some good points have been made all around.
