Good morning Jay,

I've found that it is fairly straightforward to produce indicator value files from Quotes Plus. Since I found that method, I stopped looking at other alternatives. But while I was looking, I didn't see any way to get indicator values directly from MetaStock or WOW, but MetaStock DDE to Excel could work.

I've tried a couple of experiments with adding indicators to nets. The one I was really interested in, using QP's QRS relative strength indicator was a complete bust. Also, I tried adding MACD to a net. That worked somewhat better in that the net trained to a moderate level of fitness VERY FAST. But after letting both nets train overnight, the net without MACD caught up to and surpassed the MACD version.

For now, as Len said, adding other indicators seems to be more work than it is worth. The better payback for me has been in finding good related stocks or sector indexes.

As an example, I found a group of 6 companies in the same type of business that seem to trade on similar patterns. The individual charts don't seem to visually correlate very well, but trying different random combinations as relateds has yielded some good nets.
