Larry, << can anyone find a reason to think........... >>

I will offer a "think." IMO, IAIC which has had a HUGE drop in price will NOT recover in 1998 due to tax loss selling. If it recovers it will not do so until 1999. January will be the telling month. This q's earnings will be released, tax loss selling will be over and hype around Y2K will again increase.

If these 3 things do not increase the stock price, I am afraid nothing will. Their earnings report will be the first key indicator as they control that, the other two things, outside of their control, will add to the rise only if they have some very positive earnings news.

Regards
Bob T. (still long and not sure if I will sell this yr. for a tax loss)
