why is it dropping? 1) Estimates were for .15, so they missed by .01 2) Conference call was downbeat, mgmt's tone was apologetic, which is a very bad thing 3) gross margins were down 4)sequential growth rates fell. Reason 1 will cause all of the pure momentum guys to sell. Reason 4 is what spooks even bullish momentum holders, who like the company, so that even though they might not have sold because of the .01 miss, they will sell because of the slowing growth rates. That does not mean those holders are smart, they just have a system, and rightly or wrongly they stick to it, buy when sequential growth is rising, sell when falling. best regards; joe
