The rules could also have changed but I was most familiar with GM's financing.

I'm quite some time out of the flow anyway. What I posted was just what I knew from a close association with GM dealers over a 20 plus year period.

Here in NJ GM is on a a program of creating mega-ships. So I'm afraid my experience with having a close relationship with GM dealers is history and so is any chance of buying another GM vehicle.
