It would be nice to get rich sooner than 1999. The way this cold wind and rain is going, I'm having to feed just about every day. How would you like to have that many mouths to feed? And with last summers drought, hay prices have doubled, while cattle prices dropped in half. But since I've got my web page, I've sold quite a few of them little doggies to net-surfin' cowboys. But I still go to the sale barn every Saturday to check out what's going on. Keep an eye on IBP. Early last year, or maybe it was before that...I forget, anyway I got onto IBP cause I saw how the cattlemen were getting raped by the low price of cattle on the hoof and the consumers were getting it the same way at the grocery stores. Saw that the meat packers profits were double, so I got some IBP. Actually, I did pretty good and then the split came. So keep an eye on the price of steak, and I'll tell you what stocker prices are. Maybe some futures might work. I've got enough problems in the cattle business to worry about. Don't have time to worry about futures.
But for LOR, I'm gonna put in another buy at 17-1/2 too. Can't get too much of a good thing. Keep looking for Bernie's next target. He'll outsmart us if we sit around just jawing about it. See ya later, Don.
