I too have been in this for the last 2.7 years and hope to offer some views that might make you optimistic again.

1) In the past BV has always had to approach Imperial to talk about a deal. Imperial has backed away because they felt that they could operate profitably with their own reserves and with the post Bre-X market wait out BV to scoop their property when the money ran out.

2) The first year of operation brought Imperial a $1.5 mill. loss as a result of their low grade, low recovery ore.

3) They do have a high grade pit but it is 1/2 on BV property and sctn. 38 of the mining act says you can't mine it without a deal between pit owners.

4) The parent, Sumatomo, does not tolerate ongoing losses so the heat has been on Imperial to access the high grade ore. As a result BV has received an ore contract offer and for once is in the drivers seat.

If you wish call 1-800-760-2279 to confirm.

Cheers
