Speed of delivery for e-commerce is rarely discussed..... It is already too late to chance Christmas shopping through any web site (EBAY..ONSL..NTKI..BII..AMZN etc. etc.) This situation will not change in a hurry to say the least. This is the bottom line. Predictions of explosive growth in 'net buying will never pan out if the delivery system remains where it is. If I want buy anything I want it now; I want to see it; and I want buyer protection guaranteed. Consumer behaviour will not change overnight...shopping malls will still be thriving ten years from now so will the local bookstore and the electronics store.
