My current AFCI holding was acquired exactly the same way, except I started at 12. I first started with AFCI at close to 40 early this year, rode it down, then made my losses up between 5 and 10. Then I left and after a few weeks, and listening to the last conference call, came back with a long term view. That's why I've kept picking it up as it dropped.

Others as well as myself have opined that recent days reflect market makers and funds shaking out small investors who can not stand the lull. Someone did an analysis of trades and found they were, on average, small.

Great news of course could provide some turbo, but frankly I think it may just trend sideways or mildly up for quite awhile. Long term I think it will do well.

One very interesting thing I'd like to know about is the business reason for the investment in a start up that AFCI made about two months ago. Very little press, except the announcement that AFCI was in a round of investment.
