Besides NTT in Japan, one bank in England is offering banking through a cell phone. I cannot recall the name of the bank, but I do remember that the phones used are from Motorola. The article did say that the MOT phone has a limited capability and Premion or unwired planet would be a better fit.

My short conversation with the company did not yield to anything material, he did say that there are few companies looking at Premion. The advantage of Premion is that the phone does not have to be built from the bottom up, but rather add the Premion to the existing structure, which makes development to market period very short. I would expect phones with Premion very shortly after any endorsement announcement.
