When the supply is more than the demand, it causes deflationary (revenues). At first we have Amazon.com, then we have barnsandnoble.com bookwire.com borders.com clbooks.com and lately books-a-million ebay.com egghead.com and UBID and and MALL..... The same apply to the portal sites. You have more and more efficient competition for the same pool of online surfers. Yes, the efficency means more productive.
