NEW YORK (Dec. 2) BUSINESS WIRE -Dec. 2, 1998-- Steel Partners II, L.P. announced today that it has sent a letter to the Board of Directors of Kinark Corporation (AMEX: KIN) and amended its Schedule 13D filing, to among other things, express its belief that there is significant, unrealized value in Kinark shares and that a sale of the company or of its underperforming assets may be the best way to create immediate value for Kinark's shareholders.
