Thank you for.....? Selling and making the stock go up $3 in one day? <grin> But it looks like it's settling back down now. Guessing right getting out seems easier than getting back in.

The last time it went up $3 in one day I swore to myself that if it ever happened again that I would jump out for just a day or two while it inevitably settled back a dollar or two. I missed this one so will have to wait for the next time.

I'm thinking an awful lot of Ford employees sold their 401k stock yesterday at the $58 closing price. Perhaps more than Fidelity could absorb in one day. I'll bet they were selling stock today to pay yesterdays price. No loss to Fidelity as their "slush" fund lets them pass those trading losses back to the 401k'ers.
