Hi Judy,

LSI has been a big disappointment. Just as AMAT "begs" to be bought and go up, LSI seems to be the opposite. LSI's business may be in trouble in two ways: one is that some biggies like LU, Toshiba and IBM are getting more into system on a chip (SOAC). The other is that the embedded micros, like Intel's Strongarm, seem to be supplanting some of the SOAC business. Everyone is familiar with micros, they're cheap (the embedded ones), very commodity, easy. Why do custom if you don't have to. I'm thinking of selling LSI for a tax loss to offset some gains, hell, just to sell it because I'm sick of it. My only dog, not too bad.

Tony
