BuckiFan,

I do not use automatic deductions because I want to pay the bill, I don't want it deducted automatically.

Lets say my telephone bill has a charge I want to contest on it. If they are deducting from my account (with my pre authorization), they get their money. However, if I'm paying the bill, I tell them I'll pay ____ much and we can talk about the other part.

Automatic deductions take away my control. I will be a user of e-bills when it's available to me.

Just read Don's post. Don, I use Quicken for all my finances. How much does e-bills cost and where in Quicken do I look for more info on it? I assume the billing entity has to have an agreement with CKFR? Forgive me, I own the stock, but I'm still a little cloudy on how it all works. I doubt my bank is using CKFR (small bank), so I would have to start there, but does my cable company need to have an agreement with CKFR as well??
