ImaginOn Receives Patent Approval for Proprietary Internet Technology

GREER, S.C., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- California Pro Sports, Inc., (Nasdaq: CALP) announced today that ImaginOn, Inc. received notification that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has allowed all 34 claims contained in a patent application for its "Method and Apparatus for Database Transformation and Adaptive Playback", by ImaginOn principals David M. Schwartz and Leonard W. Kain. This new invention is the core of ImaginOn's proprietary technology forming the basis for its three software products: WorldCities 2000, WebZinger and sellONstream.
Fundamentally, the newly patented invention transforms data from a spatial domain, where objects are arranged in space geometrically, to a temporal domain, where objects are arranged in time, sequentially. This presents an efficient way to automatically gather a wide range of data, of different types, from far flung chaotic sources, and then process and present it in real time. From a user's perspective, ImaginOn's invention means access and viewing from vast networks like the World Wide Web will become easier and faster.

California Pro Sports, Inc., formerly a marketer and distributor of sporting goods related products, is a publicly-traded company that has executed an agreement to merge with ImaginOn, Inc. based in San Carlos, California.
