C'MON! Guth should get some props, BUT...Best Coach in the Land is James Arthur Boeheim, bar none!! Jimmy B had his share of struggles throughout the '80s, but look at what's going on at the 'Cuse today! In consecutive nights last week, he masterfully mixed his Syracuse man and zone packages to completely dumbfound the offenses of Michigan and Indiana, respectively...with a lineup featuring two freshman, a sophomore and two juniors!! They're gonna keep getting better. Last year, Jimmy B brought a team of mid-sized unknowns to the Sweet Sixteen! And the year before that, brought a team of one star (J. Wallace) and a series of role players to the Final Four and Championship Game, after being unranked in the preseason...Boeheim has taken time to learn his craft, (and rightfully had some ridicule for not taking advantage of the talent at-hand), but it's now a pleasure to watch him show the Big East and the nation how the BEST COACH IN THE LAND takes care of business.
