My reply to Jeffery Henken no. 864 was really meant as a reply to Stephen O. no. 859. Stephen states that CLCK is a no brainier to avoid since the FDIC has no love for BestBank and its principals.

Again, knowledge is power, not blind optimism nor unfounded negativity. To reiterate:

Baetz and Gallant were never mentioned as principals of BestBank. The FDIC does not award the processing contract, but receives bids for the portfolio of credit card accounts awarding the right to buy the portfolio to the successful bidder. The bank that buys the portfolio contracts with a processor, hopefully Columbia Capital.

I believe this discussion room is for constructive factual information that we, with similar interests can share.

I enjoy reading Henken's postings, and for that matter even what Arcane Lore posts because these posts are rooted in facts.

Junk like “pigs fly”, “the worst is yet to come” and other frivolous comments serve no purpose to serious people who want to share information.

Comments anyone?
