The Carrier Dome, N.Y. city connection, the N.B.A. connection, & a depleted Big East = easy wins. In all seriousness, Boheim is an outstanding coach. The defenses he comes up with are fun to watch and he has had the foresight to realize that in the modern game, all pure shooters are playing DIII ball - hence, the zone will get you 20 wins a year. Visionary. I loved watching Cuse spank Bobby Knight's puppets all over the court. Must have eased some Keith Smart demons.

But here is my question, why not more Big East titles in the 90s when the Big East became the Big Least? UConn has stolen Boheim's and Thompson's thunder. Is it because the school suffered from NCAA scrutiny?
