Gail, I can't help you with the "flags" explanation. I'm sure one of the other TA'ers will though. As far as books go read post 90. It has a full list of good books available at most of your better bookstores. I have "TA FROM A TO Z - ACHELIS" but I don't see anything on flags. They also say that "HOW TO MAKE MONEY IN STOCKS - O'NEIL" is really good. If flags is another term for triangle?? There is a really good article in the October issue of "Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities". I know this ain't much but I hope its some help. DRC
