Speaking of which (imagination, that is), how in the world do you trade and write in the same day? Trading makes me nuts, the brain zooming faster than I can understand what it's thinking. I can watch a low-grade trade and write, but nothing that requires close examination. I hate it. A mostly empty space with no phone ringing, no one talking, just drifting away.. lahdeedah.. maybe wander down to the bar for a drink in the evening. There was a show on Bravo last night about Raymond Chandler. He lost his big-paying job after not showing up once too often. One person's comment was that he turned to writing to make a living as a result of "alcoholism and a desperation for money". Yah. I got those covered, now if I could just find some talent.
