On joint-venture agreement. For example, in its Shenzhen joint-venture, GTCI owns 51% while Shenzen Newsnet Co. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Telecom, owns 49%.

I don't know of a good summary post. I did some discussion on ISP business in post #22 and #38. I didn't know about GPS and Y2k business at that time.
