Chris; Once again you have over simplified the scripture. Please reconcile the scripture that I shared. The leadership of the Jews did oppose Jesus and sought to kill him. The common Jew however believed in Him. I will accept the words of Jesus that I shared and ask you what do you think he meant? Isa 53:5-6 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. If you need to point fingers point at me, my sin killed the Lord as well. I suppose you had nothing to do with it or you would not be so quick to throw stones of blame.
