That's not funny! (Boy I wish it were.) But honestly, the fears all of us had about NT squashing the new and low end product didn't come true, and SGI couldn't keep up with the demand. Now the real question is whether or not the company can fundamentally execute -- no excuses. I think they can, and so am long. I think that's the call for the SGI investor.

I'm also pretty sure SGI/MIPS may have other interesting technology and trick up there sleeve. Including a post made by SGI of a "major announcement" the final week of Jan, and an Infoworld article about an unannounce SGI workstation. Also, the "Magic Carpet" technology, according to the original press release the N64 was only the first of the Magic Carpet products, though I imagine there's probably a year's exclusivity or something built into the N64 contract.

Thanks for the 10Q pointer. As for Cray, my understanding is that they are pulling their weight and better.
