I agree that there is nothing so extraordinary about their Y2K solution. But as an IS manager (and former mainframe programmer) I share the opinion that there will not be a magical bullet and most companies will opt for vendors who have a record for sound project management - this should favour CGI who have beeen around (at least in Canada) for 20 years. Certainly some tools will help in reducing the Y2K effort (FRX seems to have one and I too would hold, if I held it) but not quite up to the expectations of many investors.

IMO, the key to a successful Y2K resolution for most organisations comes from a quote I saw years ago on a package of Peter Jackson cigarettes - "Perfection lies not in doing extraordinary things, but in doing ordinary things extraordinarily well". Y2K will not require supermen/women, just competent, thorough and methodical ones.

Good luck with FRX.
