I think you give Kernan TOO much credit, anyone who watches CNBC long enough can see that he is an insecure, buffoon, who craves attention, and gets no REAL respect from his co-workers. He thinks of himself as a "pseudo-analyst", let's face it, he was a stockbroker (salesman)in the past, I don't believe he has the intellectual ability to look at a company in depth and creditably evaluate it.
