Well, that's all fine and dandy but here's the bottom line -

For all the complaints about "bank service", it still doesn't stop millions from flocking to them....and their brokerage offshoots.

In the end, here's what the investment houses owned by the banks want to tell you: those of you using discount affiliates, if you want better service and reliability, pay for it. Those of you using the full-service affiliates, pay through the nose but don't expect any care. You are a commodity, not a human.
