This article from SBN is different from the original one they had posted on the SBN site concerning the 6000. The original was just a rehash of the original press release as most of the stories posted are. The most recent version has comments from Cymer's director of marketing. Keep in mind he is a marketing guy, but the forecasts are still interesting.

Rowan estimated the total market opportunity for DUV lasers to be about
$300 million this year, swelling to nearly $1 billion by 2003 as more and
more chip companies move into smaller and smaller designs. Cymer now
commands some 80% of the total market share for DUV lasers and sources,
he said.

ASP is $875,000 on the laser. Holy cow! Keep in mind, stepper companies are charging $8M+ for 0.15 capable systems.
